ABOUT

I'm based in Springfield, Missouri, where I've spent the better part of my career keeping enterprise infrastructure running smoothly. My specialty is e-commerce operations—I've rebuilt ops teams from the ground up and rolled out infrastructure improvements that actually move the needle on performance and reliability.

These days I focus on site reliability engineering and proactive monitoring. My approach is simple: build systems that scale, monitor what matters, and fix problems before customers notice them. ITIL Foundation certified, but I'm more interested in what works than what's in the textbook.

Education

Missouri State University 2001 - 2006

Outside of work, I'm into photography, gaming (video and board games), movies, TV, and music. I run gatewayy.net as a technical playground where I experiment with new tech and mess around with different approaches.
